Buffalo Grove, Ill. – ASAP Software's eBusiness tool ASAP E-Way, has won the Web Marketing Association's Standard of Excellence Award in the 2003 WebAward Competition.
The WebAward judges evaluate nominated Web sites against an ever increasing Internet standard as well as peer sites within their industry. E-Way was selected for the award based on criteria such as design, innovation, content and ease of use.
ASAP Software launched version 5.0 of its proprietary business-to-business and business-to-government (B2B/G) system, ASAP E-Way®, in May. Featuring an all-new user interface, E-Way 5.0 takes ASAP's comprehensive software services and asset management offering to another level of speed and functionality. It allows ASAP's customers to order software licenses, packaged media and hardware products through an intuitive online tool. Its detailed online reports let users manage every aspect of their technology purchases, including tracking orders, monitoring software license compliance and managing volume license contracts. Approximately 30 percent of all orders ASAP receives for software licenses, packaged media and hardware products go through E-Way, and this number grows each quarter.
"We're constantly listening to our customers and finding ways to improve their E-Way experience – making the best even better," commented Harry Zoberman, senior vice president of marketing and operations at ASAP Software. "This most recent award confirms we're doing it right."
The Standard of Excellence Award is the latest in a string of industry and peer-recognition awards ASAP has won in the past year for its online tools and services. Others include the SIIA Codie Award for Best Internet Business Service, the Microsoft Certified Partner Award (both in 2002) and the Microsoft Canada Northern Lights Award (2002 and 2003).
