A SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
LOCATION : Home office or HQ FAM, Germany
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To increase sales volume through direct sales effort in assigned accounts
- To relate with segment generalist account managers, field and inside, for account plan definition and implementation
- Understand and support segment business plans to integrate Software Licensing and Software Asset Management services
- Leverage on the combined Dell | ASAP Software value proposition to increase customer satisfaction
- Protect and Develop existing customers, Acquire new customers
- Formulate strategic account plans with clear objectives, actions, owners and sales targets
- To develop appropriate level relationships with key accounts
- To provide input to senior management on customers and competitive trends
- To provide technical and administrative product information and appropriate prices
- To take ownership for any customer issues within account base, escalating as appropriate
- Manage accounts and ensure that they are kept informed of any changes within Dell, including processes, services, products and solutions
- To maintain a weekly product and sales forecast summary for the assigned accounts
- Providing a clear indication of potential business both quarterly and beyond
- Achieve an average of 8 customer meetings per week
- Use and populate the CRM application in use
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years proven track record of face to face selling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact and negotiate with Key decision makers within an organization
- Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable
- Self-starter capable of working on your own initiative
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Previous experience of selling within the IT market preferred
- Structured and regular reporting abilities following management guidelines
- Ability to define, implement and close customer buying plans
